Claudia’s entry sparks ideas about how the Co-op could build on the partnership with the NHS. The judges felt the retailer could, for example, take over empty shops on the high street to provide a valuable service. They thought the partnership was a clever idea. The Co-op once had a pharmacy, but the NHS link makes it right during Covid and meets a community need going forward.
